Kotomi Takanashi is best friends with Ami Kurimoto. She ends up falling for Junta Momonari's Mega-Playboy side and decides to get her image changed in an attempt to attract him. However, Kotomi has her own problem in that she has an uncontrollable episodes of flatulence when she gets close to boys she likes alot.

Appearance

Kotomi was initially seen had long black hair in a dark blue shine being tied up in pigtails with a full fringe and brown eyes. In episode 5, she goes to salon to cut her long hair styled into an asymetrical bob cut.

She was commonly seen wearing a standard Fukoma winter school uniform.

Kotomi also wears different casual outfits like her long sleeve button dress that she wears. She also wears a pink leotard with dark blue long sleeves and has a zipper on the back.

Personality

Anime

A shy and cute girl of Fukoma High.She is a talented gymnast of Fukoma High and Ami's best friend. She aspires to be a Gymnast and wants to go to Germany. She farts whenever she gets nervous. In episode 6, both her and Junta share their recent problems after Junta vomits when he tried to zip at the back of Kotomi's leotard which exposes her bare back. Although, Kotomi eventually realizes that Junta was just testing her when he transformed into his Mega-Playboy form after she nervously farted when he attempted to pull off her pink panties beneath her long sleeved loose button shirt, causing him to change his mind and complimented for showing her real self by showing her love of boys, telling her not to shame to herself and she was perfect just the way she is. Kotomi also reveals that she didn't read Ami's letter because she knows that Ami loves Junta in secret. After the gymnastics meet, Kotomi finally clarifies to both Junta and Ami about her true calling and it was painful if her best friend is a third wheel. With this, she slaps Junta and telling both that she officially breaks up with Junta because she allows Ami to be with him. In episode 11, it was Kotomi who clarifies Ami about Junta and his real self after she angrily blames him for molesting her and she eventually believes Junta since she had realized that the Junta she had seen had attempted to molest her was Ryuji in disguise to smear the latter to get revenge.

Much like her anime counterpart kotomi kotomi is very shy and gentle but its seems that have a more rogue personality when she changes of apparence. that can be seem when tetsuo start to touching her butt in the japanese version she thought that if she can support that maybe she can be ready for Momonari. meaning that she would let tetsuo touching her.
